For the very first time in its 24 years of existence, the organisers of MCQP have announced a “Christmas in July” party that will be taking place this Friday, 28 July 2017.
In addition, in yet another first for MCQP, the theme and venue for the 2017 event that will be taking place in December (Saturday, 16 December) will be announced at the July spectacular, hosted at the German Club in Gardens, Cape Town. Previously, details about Africa’s biggest costume party were only revealed in October.

As many of you have read in my About Me section, I’m not a fan of anything cola flavoured. So, when the guys from Cape Cola contacted me a while ago, I was quite hesitant to try the product. Cape Cola is a young and fresh new brand that just released their start-up product – The natural, locally-made, ethically-produced Cape Cola. Yup, you read right! All of these things in one bottle. I appreciated the idea of crafting a soft drink with thought, and a few days later they sent me a sample of the new product.
Prime Circle, Freshlyground and The Graeme Watkins Project was just recently announced as the guest artists for the much-anticipated Midnight Oil concert taking place at Marks Park in Emmarentia (Johannesburg) on Saturday 29 July.
