Morcheeba Live at Kirstenbosch Gardens
With a music career spanning 22 years and millions of albums sold, Morcheeba is a true phenomenon. And now, the British trip-hop pioneers will finally hit South African soil for a once-off show in Cape Town on 6 April 2018. Fans will be able to dance under the skies at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens to the sensual vocals of Skye Edwards and the psychedelic guitar grooves of Ross Godfrey.
Morcheeba’s success story is no surprise. Edwards has one of the most recognisable voices in the music industry and there are very few who can’t sing along to the band’s catchy tunes that have been played in cafés, lounge rooms and at Sunday sessions around the world.
This year the band has embarked on their biggest world tour yet, taking in headline shows and festivals globally, and debuting new tracks from their upcoming album as well as playing all their classic hits.
Their new album ‘Blaze Away’ is due for release on 1 June 2018 but fans can get a taste of things to come by listening to the first single ‘Never Undo’ here and pre-order the album directly from the bands online store here.
