Get ready for Bazique Festival 2021
What started out as an invitation to Bazique Festival 2021, became a moving appeal to music lovers. The HQ wrote a heartfelt message thanking its 3000 festival goers for the “absolute barnstormer” they attended this year.
The organisers did not publish any photos. They felt it wasn’t the right time to be celebrating with so many people experiencing hardship. However, as things slowly get back to some kind of normal, the organisers will publish the first of the 2020 photo library soon.
Bazique HQ plans a one-day event in March
After careful consideration, Bazique HQ will not be shooting a full-blown 3-day Bazique Festival next March. Instead, it is opting for a one-day event. While government restrictions have changed mass gatherings, the organisers are hoping to “throw one helluva of a one-day beach party… a-14 hour fandango of art, music” and last, but certainly not least, “absurdism”.
The event will start at 12 pm on Saturday 13th of March. Aptly named BAZIQUE UNA DIA, it will be held on the beach of a gorgeous scenic dam less than one hour from Cape Town.
Boasting two stages, Ukudlala Beach Stage and Journey’s End Island stage, the event will host DJs from the Bazique family enhanced with the surreal sprinkle of performance artists, great site art, bad situation comedy and unearthly delights. While there will be no self-camping at the one-day event, there will be a dedicated glamping area for the day.
Save the date for Bazique 2021
Further information about ticket prices will be released closer to the sale date. For now, Bazique urges us to save the date and keep our collective fingers crossed that we will dance together in March.
