Stay At Home Kitties
Travelling? Book Your Kitten In At MyEden Boarding Cattery
I recently travelled to Bali for a few weeks and, before my trip, I was quite concerned about leaving my rescue kitty, Mystic, at home. I’ve left her home alone before, with a pet sitter over a weekend or so, and she was okay, but I was concerned about the longer period – Especially because she has disappeared once before!
So, I contacted a few catteries in the Cape Town area and MyEden Boarding Cattery immediately stood out as the best one by far! I communicated with the owner, Ivone, via email and WhatsApp, and she instantly made me feel at ease. She told me that they deal with many cats (feisty ones and really shy ones like Mystic), that I shouldn’t worry about Mystic being looked after really well, and that they don’t mix kitties from different households in the same pen. Plus, when she sent me the rates, I was surprised that they do not charge and arm and a leg at all – It’s really affordable!
When I dropped Mystic off at the cattery a day before I left SA, I was even more impressed to see that Ivone’s place was incredibly neat and well-equipped for cats of all demeanours. Every pen has a scratch pole, litter box, food and water bowls, and a play and sleep area.
Food is included in the “per day” price and you can be sure that everything will be done to ensure your kitten has the best care. Ivone will also send you regular updates of your kitty if needed. She has many years of experience, and is extremely passionate about cats and their well being.
The cattery is situated in a lovely quiet area in Bothasig, Cape Town. For more information, visit their website: http://www.myedenboarding.co.za/
